Parental Controls are free with a cable TV subscription to Comast. The password protected Parental Controls settings work with cable and regular television programming. They allow you to block out entire channels or block out channels during certain times of the day. You can also block based on the ratings or titles of television shows or movies.

Parental Controls from cable programming only allows entire blocking; you cannot filter out dialog or scenes. Parental Controls also don’t work with DVDs and VHS videos.
